We are holding a Fall mouthguard night on Monday, September 19th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at our Rindge location. Your child will receive a free custom fitted mouthguard. This is open to the public and is for children ages 6-16. After we mold your child’s mouthguard they will be ready in a week or less. Please register below.
Your child can choose a color to match their team and helmet straps are available.
Custom mouthguards cannot be used while wearing braces, if you are currently in braces we have a free mouthguard we can provide you at any time.
Thank you for pre-registering. This helps us plan our supplies.
We invite you to invite your friends and teammates to register as well.
What sports should your child wear a mouthguard for? Here is the list recommended by the ADA:
The American Dental Association recommends wearing custom mouthguards for the following sports: acrobats, basketball, boxing, field hockey, football, gymnastics, handball, ice hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, racquetball, roller hockey, rugby, shot putting, skateboarding, skiing, skydiving, soccer, squash, surfing, volleyball, water polo, weightlifting, and wrestling. Other experts include baseball and softball infielders on that list.
A custom made mouthguard is one that has been custom made for your mouth by a dentist. These are made by your dentist for you personally. They are more expensive than the other versions because they are individually created for fit and comfort.
